Responsibilities and Duties
Under the direction and supervision or guidance of more experienced field personnel and/or direct supervision of the project manager or senior staff, represent EPS Environmental and interact in a professional manner with client/subcontractor representatives, ensuring administrative policies and procedures are followed and understands and applies safety requirements. May be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors including laboratories, utility locators etc., preparing draft reports and field reports and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
0 – 2 years of prior related work experience; experience in fieldwork and hand on knowledge of the use of field equipment is desirable. Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Engineering Geology preferred. Experience with desktop and industry-specific software (e.g., MSOffice, AutoCAD) desired. Must have sound written and verbal communication skills and Ability to communicate clearly with on-site contractors, supervisor or project manager regarding work assignments.
Possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record and pass 40 Hour HAZWOPER Training and annual refresher course.
Physical Job Requirements
Ability to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to drive large pick-up truck. Ability to use hands to operate field equipment and work outdoors. Travel to project sites depending on particular assignment.
Salary commensurate to experience/qualifications.
